As a Paid Media Strategist for Acquisition.com, I was brought on to help promote their Acquisition Workshop in Las Vegas using performance-driven video ads for YouTube and Meta. My core focus was editing one-shot walk-and-talk style footage of Alex Hormozi, enhancing each scene with visual effects, kinetic text, and rotoscoped elements to create dynamic, high-retention content.
Every asset had to be delivered in three formats: 16:9 (YouTube), 1:1 (Meta), and 9:16 (Reels/Stories). I leaned heavily on After Effects, using its new AI-powered rotoscoping tools to isolate subjects in motion, create clean background separations, and add animated callouts, text, and subtle flare effects. I also designed modular templates that could flex across different hooks and CTAs while maintaining brand consistency.
Much of my work involved repurposing testimonial footage from workshop attendees into retargeting ads. These ads were built to convey authority, trust, and ROI — often within the first three seconds. I also worked on short-form social content for Leila Hormozi, tailoring edits to highlight key quotes, business insights, and behind-the-scenes moments in punchy, platform-native formats.
Due to NDA restrictions, none of the content I created is publicly available. Internally, though, I became known for delivering fast-turnaround, high-impact visuals with minimal direction. My editing pipeline was efficient, flexible, and designed to scale across multiple ad sets.
What I can show you is the video that got me hired. Highered sent me a folder of raw assets and asked me to make it work.
I turned it into a seamless, one-shot-style edit, designed to feel like a single, uninterrupted take.
