I co-founded Jester’s Abyss Studios in 2019 to solve a specific problem in Chile’s music scene: incredible underground talent, but no infrastructure to help them grow. While the mainstream supported reggaeton and legacy rock, emerging bands had few opportunities to be seen, heard, or professionally branded. We stepped in to change that.
My partner handled music production and mixing, while I led all visual direction, brand identity, album art, and promotional design. We offered affordable packages to help musicians look and sound world-class — covering everything from motion-graphic promo teasers and live event flyers to full-scale release campaigns and social visuals.
Across six years, we worked with over 14 bands, helped launch multiple albums, and promoted dozens of underground shows. Our flagship artist, Möebius, became a staple of the Chilean rock circuit — securing press, bookings, and a growing fanbase thanks to their sonic identity and the visual ecosystem we built around them.
Beyond the branding and production work, Jester’s Abyss became a creative incubator for Chile’s underground scene — a place where emerging musicians could find not just services, but guidance. I regularly mentored artists on visual identity, audience targeting, and how to present themselves professionally online, even on limited budgets. We created everything from single-release promo kits to full EP rollout campaigns, helping these bands establish a presence in a market that often overlooks them. It wasn’t just about giving them assets — it was about giving them a shot.
The studio officially closed in 2025 when I moved to Europe, but its legacy lives on. We still support a few long-term clients, but our grassroots mission — to lift up Chile’s underground rock scene with art, strategy, and community — remains one of my proudest accomplishments.
Here's Möebius, one of the most promising underground rock bands in Chile. Every cut, every visual motif was designed to elevate their presence and set them apart in a scene crowded with noise but lacking direction. They wanted a basic lyric video, but I went further beyond.
